About
I’m Jacob Schoenberg, co-founder and Chief Growth Officer of QWNTL Labs in San Francisco. I own growth: the market side of a research lab whose subject is agent durability, meaning whether an AI agent’s behavior holds up across days and weeks of work rather than a single task.
I’m not an engineer, and I don’t pretend to be one. My seat is in front of buyers, builders, and design partners every week, so what I bring is problem fluency and a field report you can’t get from a paper: what actually breaks when agents run long, what it costs, and how the people running them talk about it.
Before QWNTL Labs I co-founded GrantX. I’ve spent my career on the go-to-market side of technical products.
What I write about
- The question changed. Single-shot capability is largely solved. Trust over time is not.
- Field reports. What I keep hearing from teams running agents in production, anonymized and specific.
- The economics. Services-as-software, outcome pricing that only works if the agent doesn’t drift, and the trust race that decides whether the installed base becomes a workforce.
- Curation with a point of view. Sharp framing on other people’s technical work and the field’s published evidence.
